We added seat cushions to 2 and an M&P booster seat to the other for our toddler so she can have breakfast with us in the kitchen. The stools are a very good height for a chunky 90cm tall kitchen island. The backrest and footrests are at the right heights for us. Much more comfortable than the old B&Q bar stools we had. Easy to manoeuvre without being too light or too heavy. 5

Choose the right bar stool height

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 87-91 cm from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 60-66 cm. Tabletops or counters that measure between 101-106 cm from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 72-76 centimetres.
