The BEST bulbs I found in the end were little fridge bulbs which were 17 whatts and 150 lumen, perfect brightness without hurting eyes.5

Brought 2 to go either side of a mirror to create that Hollywood mirror style for my teenager. Just make sure you order bulbs as I missed the part of the description that said it doesn't come with any and had to order separately and await delivery 5
