Use only wooden or plastic utensils without sharp edges.

This product has a non-stick coating where no PTFE or other PFAS have been allowed.

Wash this product before using it for the first time.

Avoid heating a dry and empty frying pan too quickly, especially with the induction hob's booster function, as this can cause the pan to warp and negatively affect the coating's non-stick properties.

panAnonymous reviewerI recently purchased a non-stick frying pan from IKEA, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. Despite following all the care instructions — using only silicone/wooden utensils, cooking on medium heat, and washing by hand — the non-stick coating started wearing off within just two days of use. I expected better quality and durability from IKEA products, especially since this pan was advertised as long-lasting and easy to maintain. The surface now has visible scratches and food sticks to it, defeating the purpose of buying a non-stick pan in the first place. I’ve always trusted IKEA for reliable kitchenware, but this product really fell short of expectations. For the price, I expected at least a few months of good performance, not just two days. I hope IKEA looks into the quality control of this item, as it’s clearly not up to their usual standards.1

Terrible quality panAnonymous reviewerIn just over a month I have probably used the pan 8-10 times. I was excited to try it as the wok is amazing. Unfortunately, I was quickly disappointed. When I cooked some sausages in it, they immediately stuck and that has never come off properly. It is still there after so many washes. In addition, the metal wrap at the connection of the handle to the pan has split open at the seam on the back of the handle. Will not be buying this again1

Worst pan everAnonymous reviewerI purchased this pan for crepes and pancakes only as it non-stick but it do stick and burns the food . The middle part doesn’t cook but the corners burns and stick and it’s impossible to clean . The burn parts need a steel wire to clean it but will scratch the pan . I returned it , really bad quality 👎🏻.1

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.

"When designing MIDDAGSMAT, I wanted to make a series with all the basic functions for trouble-free everyday cooking. I used simple and basic shapes like circles and ovals to create knobs and handles with generous and soft lines that provide a good grip – while also adding a lot of character. I hope that many people will appreciate the timeless design and that items in the MIDDAGSMAT series will be faithful companions in the kitchen for many years to come."
