    Care

    Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.

    Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

    For increased stability, re-tighten the screws and other connectors when necessary.

  • For this ottoman bed you need to use a mattress with a maximum weight of 50 kg. If the mattress exceeds the maximum weight, the slatted base can suddenly fall and cause injury.This ottoman bed has been tested and meets the requirements for safety, durability and stability set forth by standard EN1725.

LovelyAnonymous reviewerI was in two minds between this ottoman bed and the one with drawers which was over £100 cheaper, but given the one with drawers had mixed reviews and i needed to be clever with storage, i opted for this Ottoman bed instead. A part was missing when the bed was delivered, Ikea luckily had the same part in store which i collected and fitted on the same day and all worked well. its a really good bed and the storage space is amazing, just need to give the strap a tight pull to lift it especially if you have just used cream. The bed does make a slight creaking noise when moving but i realised that was to do with the mattress just rubbing against the frame, but if moved a little the creaking stops until the next time. but its such a minimal issue. Overall i love this bed and glad i got it! 5

Material

What is veneer?

A veneer is a thin wooden sheet fixed on things like particleboards to add a durable surface and a natural wood look – so we enjoy the many benefits of wood without using solid wood. The most common veneer types are birch, ash, oak and beech and we’ve made a special UV lacquer that helps preserve the wood's natural structure. A benefit with a slightly thicker veneer is how you can repair and sand the surface if it’s damaged to give furniture a longer and more beautiful life.
