However I heard very good things from family so went ahead and ordered this, after a well known furniture shop kept sending me damaged items. I selected to pick up from a Tesco car park which was very handy. To my delight the box was undamaged and the item well protected - pristine condition. Hubby put it together no issues and it looks top quality and sturdy, Very impressed, so will be ordering from ikea in future :)5

Worth every pennyAnonymous reviewerThe drawers are amazing and I have lots of the malm drawers now including the six large low drawers. Very sturdy and you can fit loads in all the drawers. I swapped from another six set I had and have ended up with two empty (not for long though!) I’d recommend these to anyone, they’re one of the best things I’ve ever bought5

The only downside about this product is complicated assembly. There is an instruction booklets but still it’s difficult to assemble.

Easily markedAnonymous reviewerAs others have said, the construction is strong and easy to put together, but the grey version is very easily marked as its matt. Ours was chipped but we didn’t realise until it was fully together - too late to change it now. Plus the glass tops only work on the white version.4
