Malm 6 drawer unitAnonymous reviewerPurchased this item for my granddaughter to put in her bedroom found it easy to put together but it came in two boxes which are very heavy luckily I am not that small we found it easier to unpack them down stairs and take the pieces upstairs a few pieces at a time once thing I found was the front cross bars/rails are very flimsy and weak only being made of chipboard so you had to be careful when lifting it when assembling luckily I have built these units before4

Poor quality, wood chips all on my clothesAnonymous reviewerI’m very disappointed with this chest of drawers. It’s clear that quality is no longer a priority for IKEA. While assembling it, I got multiple splinters because the chipboard is poorly finished and no longer properly sealed. After placing my clothes in the drawers, they repeatedly catch on the rough edges at the top, and now my clothes are covered in woodchip. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable for a piece of furniture intended for everyday use. I will definitely think twice before purchasing furniture from Ikea in future.1
Large capacity drawer unit.Anonymous reviewerI bought one of these units for general clothes storage, in my bedroom. 2 problems. 1. The ‘veneers’ on the drawer fronts do not match up in any way. 2. On 2 occasions the edge trim on drawer fronts became unglued, once during assembly and another time when the sleeve of a woolen jumper got caught and pulled the trim back about 75mm. I have had to reglue these as a repair and this should not have occured.3
