Scratches clothesAnonymous reviewerThe sections in between the drawers scratch clothes. This is because the particleboard is exposed on both sides rather than having one side smooth and coated. Knitted items catch on the rough edge which damages them.

Good but not as great as my last malmAnonymous reviewerWe love the malm furniture. So when our last set of drawers came to the end of its life after 8 years we invested in 2 more. Unfortunately the newer ones feel cheaper. The wood is flimsier and when we put one together. A locking screw broke a piece of wood and so it’s now held in place by tape. They look great but the surface is also rough with splinters hanging out. As I said we love malm so want to stay with the style but we were disappointed in the quality this time.

Material
What is particleboard?
