Solid!Anonymous reviewerI made all my furniture from IKEA 15 years ago - all MALM Oak - and it's stood the test of time, apart from one like this that had a broken drawer so this new one replaces it. It's certainly so much stronger than they were previously and very solid and I can't see this one ever breaking!
My only disappointment is that I preferred the original oak colour rather than the white oak but I'm still very pleased with it and I don't have any of the other MALM pieces in that bedroom.

Lives up to the hypeAnonymous reviewerI was sceptical when purchasing the Malm 3 drawer and four drawer chest of drawers. I had been looking for new drawers for my bedroom for a long time, but the only ones with consistently good reviews were out of my price range.
I saw all the reviews for Malm, measured my spaces and ordered 1x3 drawer and 2x4 drawers. I also ordered glass tops made to go with them and very reasonably priced.
In terms of assembly, I can't speak from experience because a friend put them up, but I was told this was not difficult.
I have to say they are very generous, not shallow like a lot of drawers. They glide open smoothly and are incredibly sturdy.
They look fabulous, as do the glass tops which will protect them. I'm very happy and highly recommend them. If you are on a budget, don't hesitate to buy them. Do make sure you measure your space as they are large which suits my needs.
