TeenagerAnonymous reviewerWe got this bed for our teenager who loved the look of it. The noise that came from it every time he was on was so annoying!! I went through manyyy options and finally found that because the slats weren't secured they moved all the time rubbing against the metal it sits on. We put masking tape all down the metal and I put velcro on the end slats to stop movement so much and now it's silent! Phew!! Strong enough for a growing teenager 4

I think it’s coming from the metal under the mattress- every time you get on or off. my son has complained he hears it in the night when he moves about as well. Squeaky soundAnonymous reviewerI recently bought a malm single bed, but it’s been causing me sleepless nights due to the squeaky noises. I made sure to tighten all the screws properly and assembled it according to the instructions.
However, even just sitting on it causes squeaky sounds, and when I lie down, every time I turn over, the creaking noise is loud enough to disturb my family on the floor below or next room. Because of this, I wake up every time I shift positions, and I’ve been severely sleep deprived.
I have noticed that this issue is frequently mentioned in online reviews, so I don’t think I’m the only one experiencing it. That said, some reviews say they haven’t had any problems, so I’m wondering if I might have received a defective product. I’m at a loss for what to do.2
