Very good but has a squeakAnonymous reviewerIt's good but I cannot get rid of a squeak which is annoying in the night 4
Good QualityAnonymous reviewerGood sturdy bed, instructions are a little misleading in parts but apart from that highly rated5
MALM PURCHASEAnonymous reviewerPoorly fitting bed rails. Flimsy plastic restraints for bed rails. Better it was one double bed size than two single bed sizes and having to put them side by side. Instructions unclear on many occasions.1
Malam bedAnonymous reviewerExcellent bed. Easy to assemble. Great for a teenage boy.5
Not impressed Anonymous reviewerI chucked an old bed because it squeaked, only to buy this one, which seemed great at first, was comfortable & ok to put together. Only to find out that after about 4 months it's starting creaking/squeaking! 😿 I think it's the slats rubbing on the frame, but I'm not sure. Internet searches have availed to nothing! HELP, IKEA! Yours, sleepless in Somerset.2
Simple and solidAnonymous reviewerAlways a plus when such a big piece can be assembled on your own. 5
Bought this for my son's bedroom. He was very happy with it as it is modern and stilish.Anonymous reviewerIt is also comfortable and the perfect size5
GreatAnonymous reviewerIm very happy with this item!5
Malm kingsize bed construction Anonymous reviewerRight!!!! .....question, ..why have you decided to change the design of the locking " wheel"( i have had a malm bed in the past and put it together easy) myself and my partner ( both 60 + yrs) were totally frustrated because we couldn't get it right, in the end I had to get a family member to help, luckily we did manage to finish the construction, eventually....and another change...the headboard used to be one piece but now it's 2 pieces. More unnecessary time...why?... but we had a good night sleep after all that...but design ...not happy3
Brilliant bedAnonymous reviewerSo easy to put together. Very well made with easy to follow instructions. Highly recomended5

Great productAnonymous reviewerLooks good and easy to assemble5
PerfectAnonymous reviewerAll good5
SolidAnonymous reviewerEasy to assemble. Solid. Good value5
Poor headboardAnonymous reviewerThis bed used to be a very good bed. However Ikea have changed some of the features in that the bed is less solid and the headboard comes in 2 parts. It used to be one large stronger part to the back of the bed. The bed doesn’t wear well :(2
Squeaky bedAnonymous reviewerGlad to see I’m not the only one who had issues with this beds quality. The assembly was tricky and the quality of the slats hasn’t held up very well, making the bed squeak when you move.3
Ikea bed frameAnonymous reviewerGreat bed frame, easy to install, and very strong5
