Wooden slats, on a metal frame without any rubber caps causes nothing but friction, resulting in a lot of noise. 2

Ikea discontinued that colour and wouldn't @llow us to buy the headboard only as a replacement p@rt. We were satisfied with the bed so we just bought the white stained oak to replace ihe old one5

Fairly easy to assembleAnonymous reviewerIt was fairly easy for 2 people to assemble.
However, the headboard was a little bit tricky to get on as it needed weight on top to push down on the dowels. You can’t use a hammer for fear of damaging it so it was just pushing and pushing until eventually it went flush. 4
