Love this!Anonymous reviewerBest paper for easels & such good quality/value5
Fabulous paperAnonymous reviewerI have the Ikea easel, this paper is perfect, once it has been covered, we just pull it down and the children start again, it is thick enough for paint to soak in without the paper ripping and wide enough to cover the whole surface of the easel5
Thought it be thickerAnonymous reviewerBought online. Thought it would be thicker than what it was. Felt tips from the same range bleed through and doesn't hold water colours from the same range v well. But for wax crayons and pencil colours and poster paint. Good job. And for the price for kids to mess around with yes no problem for the price. Writing this review on 2 October 2025, bought the paper a week prior to this date. Yes I would recommend if you've got kids who like to draw or paint or whatever and then keep it for a while and bin it then yes go ahead. But it's not v thick. You would have to pay a lot more for a roll of that length if you wanted it thick. I guess it's very similar to what Packers wrap valuable things in. It's like flip chart paper. £3.50 30 metre roll.3
Perfect for packingAnonymous reviewerI bought packing boxes and needed some packing paper. I saw this drawing paper and ordered a few rolls along with the boxes. I was really surprised how strong it was and it was perfect for my needs.5
Nice thick paperAnonymous reviewerThis paper is a thicker, better quality roll then I've had from other places5
GoodAnonymous reviewerGood5
MalaAnonymous reviewerGood value for money, great product, keeps the grandchildren plus nieces and nephews happy for hours5

For all creative little explorers

Drawings all over the kitchen table and coloured felt pens without caps. Does it sound familiar? This is definitely part of living with children, and actually something to be happy about. Painting, drawing, and crafting are in fact not just fun, but important work, and a way for your child to develop. When we created the MÅLA series, we wanted to take children’s creation very seriously and listened to the true experts: the children themselves.

We always start with the child’s perspective to understand what they really need. In this project, we found facts and inspiration in pedagogy focusing on creativity. “We realised that creativity isn’t just any play for children, they’re little researchers who use creation to understand the world around them,” says Ina Tidbeck Sjöblom who was part of creating the MÅLA series.

Made for busy artists

The team interviewed groups of children who got to try out prototypes and provide their points of view. What were their favourite colours? What did they think of the paper? “The children had very strong and sensible opinions. We also realised how they use drawing and painting gear. For example, if you’re four years old and in the middle of making a drawing, you don’t always think of putting the cap back on the felt pen. So, these pens will last up to three days without caps.” To ensure high quality at the right price, the development work was allowed to take extra time. “What children do and how they do it is super important. That’s why we considered all their feedback and made sure the products met their needs.”

Easy to get started

The MÅLA series has been around for a long time, but it keeps growing and evolving as we see new needs and get new ideas. All parts should be easy to grab and use whenever inspiration strikes. “The child shouldn’t need a parent nearby to start drawing or painting. Being able to do things on your own is an important part of development. You grow with the task.”
