Care

Strong, elegant, comfortable and pretty! 🐨Anonymous reviewerI always wanted a ‘Varier’ kneeling chair which are flexible, compliant and good for posture with a ‘bounce’! Unfortunately, Varier charge obscene amounts for cheaply constructed ‘fashion’ chairs that rely on status as opposed to build quality. As such, I always hoped that IKEA would produce an alternative as I know IKEA could do it better and make the design accessible to everyone and not just the few. Unfortunately, the simple design is patented, and no one wants to step on their toes which has stifled the innovation and evolution of the basic kneeling chair concept sadly. Thus, whilst seeking an alternative IKEA finally released this which although unrelated to kneeling, is basically beautifully designed, using gorgeous natural materials (so smooth and elegant, and it smells delicious)! It’s comfortable, has a degree of flexibility and compliance and it’s good for my posture. I use it in a design studio setting and love it as I think it’s a piece of art in its own right!5

Bought this for my grandson as I already had the yellow steps for him to climb up on . Doesn't fit to curveAnonymous reviewerBought 2 chairs, a G-clamp was needed to get the leg to fit into the curve of the seat. We visited Ikea helpdesk to explain for future buyers as not everyone will want to sort this out or have the skill, the holes didn't line up so you may find yourself returning this product. Ikea said we should have taken photos so our feedback meant nothing. Other than that the chair is comfortable but you'll need pads to go on bottom of legs so doesn't mark your floor. 2

I love the bright yellow colour of this chair, it's so joyful. It's really good that it's entirely made of wood,and of course, being ikea it's especially good that it's Swedish design and real design too not fake design!
