Very very heavyAnonymous reviewerThe desk is very very heavy. I was hoping to be able to move it from one room to another room when we had visitors to stay but it needs 2 strong people to lift it and we are old. The fittings kept breaking and we had to get new ones. We've had to put it in garage as if we had put it together completely in the intended room we wouldn't have been able to get it out of door and around the door frame to the hall. 3
Horrible, just save your moneyAnonymous reviewerI have never been more disappointed. This desk is beautiful in the pics, but it's been more than 2 months since we've tried to assemble it. Symmetrical pieces don't fit, one of the legs is shorter than the other 3, there were scratches on the surface and it kept scratching so easily even if it costs quite a lot. Also - the screws broke in the middle of the process (had to buy additional ones). And then the drawer has such a poorly build structure, it makes it impossible to put it together.
This awful thing only takes place in the flat, we will probably just throw it away. I feel like I have been ripped off of almost £200. This poor experience reflects now with everything Ikea sells. Even if we need more furniture in our new flat, I've decided to not get anything from Ikea. it's not worth it.1
