Good to know

Two persons are needed for the assembly of this furniture.

Keep in mind that you need enough space between the top of the furniture and the ceiling to be able to anchor the product to the wall.

Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

Safety and compliance

Handle with care! A damaged edge or scratched surface can cause the glass to suddenly crack or break. Avoid bumps from the side - this is where the glass is most vulnerable.Must be anchored to the wall. Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

Holes for handles not aligned.Anonymous reviewerHas no one else noticed ? The holes for the handles on the glass doors are not aligned. We had our doors replaced only to discover the exact same problem. We looked in IKEA Sheffield and Birmingham stores at the cabinets on display ….they had been built using the pre drilled holes for the handles and were not aligned! The doors are built to mirror image each other with the pre drilled handle holes OFF CENTRE…….placing one door on top of the other they are exact …….HOWEVER the door hinges dictate that you need to turn one door upside down . Think about this ! IF the holes were in the middle this wouldn’t matter ……….we have had to drill very carefully next to the pre drilled hole on one side and use alternative handles. Other than that it’s a lovely cabinet and was surprisingly easy to build .4

The only thing we would change: would love the upper part to have glass shelves so the light can shine all the way through. And the bottom part to have a soft close too. We keep banging those doors by mistake because the upper part has soft close mechanism.5

Delighted with all the space to storage I have now...Anonymous reviewerWhen you have a husband who does everything... here it is, already assembled and ready to use. The instructions are only missing a few letters to indicate which board goes where, but it wasn't complicated. One thing I would like to have is a drawer in the part of the doors that aren't glass, but I am delighted with our investment. The color matches our dining table. Additionally, I love how stable it is, it doesn't move at all and how softly the doors close, especially when you have children :D4

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are.
