Care

Wipe clean with a mild soapy solution.

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

We now have six in the light wood which sit round the dining table, and two dark ones round a side table to complement the rest of our Hemnes dark wood living room. They are unbelievably robust, you could safely plonk the greatest of behinds down on one of these with no worries at all, and the lighter colour ones have resisted all the food and paint the children can annoyingly plaster them with, coming up perfectly clean. They are a little firm to sit on, which I quite like, but nothing a seat pad can't fix for those with a more delicate derriere.5

"The idea behind LISABO was to create a series with the distinct feeling of wood, a floating expression and durable, easy to assemble construction. We chose a matt lacquer on the ash veneer so the furniture will keep its natural wood feel. The special technique we use allows the tables to be produced without support rails and with slanted edges that give it a handcrafted look. The furniture can be used in different ways and the pieces work great together or individually."
