Sink StopperAnonymous reviewerDoes the job5
Short lifeAnonymous reviewerWe've had to replace this twice, because the bit on the side that keeps it up has fallen out! 3
Sink plugAnonymous reviewerGood but not quite the right size. Have an Ikea butler sink and lost plug so got this one as a replacement but it’s not quite the same size 5
PlugAnonymous reviewerGood quick delivery good quality 5
PlugAnonymous reviewerIt fits my sink and enables me to fill it with water 5
Useless!Anonymous reviewerI'm very disappointed as l bought both parts in the hope of being able to seal my Ikea sink. It doesn't work.1
Irritating designAnonymous reviewerGot one of these with my kitchen in 2021. For some reason the ring part of the rubber stopper is detachable. That kind of part always gets very grubby and means I’m constantly having to pick up the filthy thing and reattach it to the plug base to be able to plug the sink. I’ve tried glueing it before but all the hot water going through makes it difficult to do so in a way that stays long term. 2
Just what was needed Anonymous reviewerReplaced an old fitting. Snug fit and works well. 5
Great Anonymous reviewerGreat purchase fits perfectly 5
Don't over tighten!Anonymous reviewerI'm reading the reviews that these leak, they are the same as all such stoppers, if you overtighten the screw part it will leak, if you have this problem loosen the screw by a quarter turn insert into sink and just use a little water to see if it leaks, if so loosen a little more until leaking stops, there should be a distinct clicking feel when inserted into sink trap to show that it is in correctly. Personal review, it does the job and just pull out slightly to empty sink so it traps food particles, mine came with my sink purchase but would recommend as separate purchase if necessary.5
Good plugAnonymous reviewerFit's very well does the job5
Ok productAnonymous reviewerDoes the job3
Not Fit for PurposeAnonymous reviewerI've got two of these (for a Havsen double sink) and neither of them works. I half fill one or both of the sinks with the sink stopper fully depressed and they're empty within five minutes.1
Does not workAnonymous reviewerSimply does not do what it's intended for. Within 5 mins a sink full of water is empty.1
Leaking Kitchen PlugholeAnonymous reviewerThis is the second plug we have bought for your IKEA sink. Lave the sink for 2 minutes and all the water has run away This not good enough for a new sink! With the current lockdown we wanted to report this in person and ask for a solution.1
Does as it shouldAnonymous reviewerVery useful item. Works as a plug, keeps debris from going down the drain. Very pleased.5
Did not fitAnonymous reviewerThe rubber part of the stopper/plug of my IKEA sink has perished and I was hopeful. However this does not fit my sink which was installed in 2011, so I’m having to use a bowl within the sink. Most unfortunate that I’m unable to find a replacement stoppper.1
High quality productAnonymous reviewerReplacement plug perfect product5

Material

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
