However, I paid for ikea to build it for me. I have never done this before though. I took one look at the contents of the box and thought no chance can I do that on my own. I have built a lot of things so thought it would be relatively simple. When it comes to wardrobes, I'm not sure what I was thinking. Having said that, the ikea fitter was excellent. Swift, efficient, and now I know it's been built correctly. Really, really pleased! One less thing to worry about when you've just moved into a new house.
Don’t bother Anonymous reviewerHands down one of the worst engineering designs I’ve ever dealt with. I’m a competent handyman and this took me over 3 hours to put together. It’s a simple design (too simple) and the back board is extremely challenging to install whilst trying not to damage the 3 boards hanging. At one point I thought this was designed for 2 people due to the weight and awkwardness of the individual panels. Now installed it looks good and fit for purpose but someone please redesign the installation guide/ specify this is a 2 person installation.
Pleasantly surprisedAnonymous reviewerI was a bit apprehensive given the price but I bought 2 of these wardrobes and they were easy enough to build! They screw together if you want them side by side which was exactly what I wanted. Very happy with the product!
Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerNot good door damaged upon opening, poor quality coating on them like a sticker that's scratched off. Also each wardrobes shelve was not in the box so not as described.
Don't buy unless you won't have to move it!Anonymous reviewerWhile moving the assembled wardrobe into place the flimsy hardboard back panel jumped out of its slots, bowing the sides of the wardrobe. Laying it down to dis-assemble and re-insert the back panel caused the whole thing to shift off-square splitting the chipboard where the top and bottom screws are and left the chipboard potentially unusable. My first reaction was to take it to the dump but having bought three to match I decided to fix it, doubting IKEA would replace a dis-assembled broken unit and in any case not wanting another one like it! I flooded each chipboard split with superglue and clamp them together, probably now stronger than the original. I screwed the top and bottom to one side and fitted four corner blocks along both the top and bottom and slid in the bowed backboard with some help. I finished the assembly and now it is rock solid. Now to corner-block the others! When are companies going to use MDF on low cost furniture instead crummy chipboard and cheap weak fixings

Value for moneyAnonymous reviewerThe wardrobe is very basic and the finish doesn’t Ouse quality, but what do you expect for the price. For £99 it is sturdy, easy to assemble, does exactly what it is intended for.
So if you want a good basic wardrobe look no further.
Flimsy and difficult to buildAnonymous reviewerAll going well until you try and complete 8 9 and 10. Trying to balance a side of wardrobe on flimsy back panel near impossible then came the snap. Wardrobe integrity gone and off to the tip it goes.
If you make the mistake and order this make sure you get ikea to build it for you

I'm more than happy with them. Easy to build. Doors line up well and easy fixing to the wall . Excellent value for money.
