I took a star off for the fact that someone decided it was a good idea to stick a (very sticky!) product label tightly around the frame which is really hard to remove. You can't leave it on as it's visible. Why do that?! There's a label on the box.

Shouldn’t have left factoryAnonymous reviewerThe frame had a small dent, some scratches and a bump on it as if the section underneath wasn’t manufactured smoothly. I know it’s only £10 but I don’t think that should mean it should arrive looking used. Returning on the principle of it but having to repackage and visit courier shop is using up my time and I’m self employed so I’m losing out on money even when i get a refund. Not that amused.

Cheap and good quality mirrorAnonymous reviewerSome other people seem to be having problems with it staying in place, however I didn't find this at all. All you need to do is tighten the small screws and it's fine. Great price for a good quality mirror. Magnification wouldn't be enough for me but my daughter (who I bought it for) doesn't seem to have any problems

What is mirror glass?
Mirror glass comprises mostly of ordinary glass with a reflective coating in some kind of metal. In the past it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury – but over time, both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. That’s why, as of several years ago, IKEA has a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors and instead it is non-toxic silver or aluminium that reflects your mirror image.
