So that's three doors out of four damaged. And the packing was perfect so this damage happened before the doors were packed. Would not buy again.
Door too heavy for Besta frame.Anonymous reviewerBuilding the cabinet and adding the door was straightforward. However, when the cabinet is placed on its feet the weight of the door twists the frame making it impossible to align the door. I will need to add supporting brackets or fix the top of the cabinet to the wall to stop this distortion of the frame.

Panel construction density reduced?Anonymous reviewerPanel doors appear to be less dense [ IKEA shift to using more 'processed' wood chip? ], makes assembly slightly easier [weight] at the risk of installation damage [edge nicks and twisting] with less material to capture hinge screws - do NOT overtighten . A drop of Cyanoacrylate in the screw opening allowed to dry before assembly is good.
Bad designAnonymous reviewerYou can only use 2 of the holes if using as a draw front for a Besta drawer. It does not match the diagram on the instructions. I have have completed many IKEA items and this is the first time that I have encountered such a basic error. This is the issue with a “one size fits all” attitude to component parts. Sometimes they don’t. This should have been fixed given the previous comments.
Incorrect measurementsAnonymous reviewerIkea are an absolute disgrace and my experience has put me off ever shopping with them again.
I bought 2 of these units, plus a single as well as several other items. They were built up and hung. At the same time, I ordered some made to measure lattice panelling for the front - as they are a bit plain.
The panelling arrived and was lovely. I held it up to one of the doors to see what it looked like - and horror, of horrors - it was the wrong size!
I measured it. Nope, the panelling was spot on i.e. the same size as Ikea advertise (on the website, instore and on the invoice) 60cm x 38cm.
So, I measured the doors themselves and lo and behold, they're not 60cm, they're 59.5cm!
I contacted CS and they asked for photos, which I duly sent. Then nothing, nada, zero, crickets. I've emailed and emailed and emailed. Next, I will escalate it to a complaint then it will be going to the ombudsman. I will not be out of pocket £160 because Ikea can't get their measurements right.
