Good solid extendable easy to useAnonymous reviewerWe purchased this table after seeing it in store, looked a bit more solid than original choice, with easy extension, excellent..We would have loved in a different colour i.e. light grey, beech... Good instructions, my husband did do this himself about 1.5 hours he used a hand screw driver as an electric one was a bit too powerful for the screws, and it would have been quicker with two as it does state this is preferable...overall we like the table and pleased with our purchase...thank you IKEA

Nightmare to assembleAnonymous reviewerImpossible to assemble unless you have power tools, sandpaper and a rubber mallet. I think I bought a faulty product, but I needed the table that day and no time to return it, so spent 6 hours on it and finally got the job done. The metal brackets where the legs go barely fit in the slot on the wooden sides so you'll need to widen them with sandpaper, some of the screws don't go all the way in (even with power tools), and to fit the tabletop on the sliding sides needs a lot of strenght, pushing, pulling, and even more patience.
I do not recommend buying this product, unless you have a wide range of good tools. Better go for a non-extendable table.

Poor design on the assemblyAnonymous reviewerThis table looks good but it has a very poor design on the assembly. I would like to see the designers engaging the table top on the flimsy plastic runners they specified and then sliding it to its postition.
Even with 2 people it is very difficult to assemble.
