I had Ikea’s Lehmann before which was almost identical to this but without the leaf. This is the perfect replacement
Gateleg TableAnonymous reviewerGood quality table, well made, clear instructions, all in all a nice table. Biggest disappointment was being asked what particular date we wanted delivery to be made and then totally ignoring the request. It was delivered on a day we were not at home, left in the wrong place (propped up against a garden door in clear view of a public footpath, not what was requested to the courier) and it was raining hard which ruined the cardboard packaging but luckily, it didn’t damage the table. I did report this with feedback at the point of delivery but I’ve absolutely nothing back.
Disappointed enough to consider not buying a large product from IKEA again.

MidAnonymous reviewerSturdy table, not so straightforward to build but manageable. Great for sitting round- we have managed to get 6 round this quite comfortably. Downside is chairs cannot be pushed easily due to the position of the gateleg, and when the flap is down it can only be used by two comfortably due to the position of an under table support. It'll do, but is not my forever table

Problem & problem…still waiting for my table to arrive Anonymous reviewerI purchased this table & 4 chairs 22nd Jan. The chairs were delivered…no table, spoke with customer service who confirmed it had gone walkies so they ordered me another. I took time off work for the table to be delivered only to receive notification from the courier; DPD, that they would be delivering the day before so I had to change my day off with very short notice and some aggro from my employer. Item arrived on the Thursday…wrong item! 3rd time lucky…we’ll see. Not even a “we’re sorry” from customer services.
