Sofa great 👍🏻 bed part annoyingAnonymous reviewerNot sure who did a project of this bed but they didn’t tested it as part with bed is sliding out from under sofa we never used bed function but this drawer is sliding out constantly which is very much so annoying.
Assembly issues. Very unhappy. Would like to returnAnonymous reviewerBought this sofa bed because we were happy with our previous Landskrona sofa, but had issues with assembly and still not right. Had to drill holes to attach castors (step 15), bottom slats were not attached (meant to be released in step 17) so it kept springing up and making assembly difficult. Once assembled, the bed doesn't go all the way in under the sofa. We are experienced IKEA assemblers and never had issues before. We would like to return this item if the issue cannot be solved. Very frustrated and unhappy.
Sofa bad Anonymous reviewerThis sofa bad is fantastic!
Exactly how I want it! Thank you ikea
Quality of materialAnonymous reviewerIt’s been 5 months and sofa has started showing sign of aging (wrinkle). Its backrest are not stable any more and Velcro has started falling off. I am concerned if it lasts long. Doubt of product quality at this price.
Much better than expected Anonymous reviewerI was so hesitant after ready the reviews but it was the exact style we was after so decided to take the chance. I’m really glad we did, between the two of us we didn’t struggle following the instructions at all and I was surprised how quick we finished it. I think the sofa feels really solid and sturdy and turning it into the bed is really simple. Only reason it’s a 4 star is due to a little scuff in the material (that luckily cant be seen too much) it does worry me it may scuff easily and like others have said you will have a lot of cardboard to dispose of but that is usually the case with flat pack furniture. Other than that though I’m very pleased we purchased it.
So much cardboard packaging to recycle and remember you might need a drill.Anonymous reviewerSofa bed arrived in three huge packages, slighly damaged and with parts (the legs) missing. The assembly guide also claimed it two people, scissors and a screwdriver were needed to put it together. Many of the holes were too small for some of the screws, and this held up assembly until a solution could be found. When I rang up customer services the next day their answer was to either replace or refund the sofa, and both options would have required disassembling it again. I walked down to the local IKEA myself and retrieved the missing parts, then borrowed a drill from a neighbour, which made the holes larger. Once assembled not actually that bad as a sofa, but I am having to store the packaging cardboard it came in. It has filled both recycling and usual bin, and I will have to wait for them to be emptied to put some more in.
Not Worth The money !I would Not recommend this sofa bed to anyone ! Item comes in three packages . Once my husband opened the boxes he noticed how cheap has been made ! No solid wood ,only cheap wood planks. ,,Lether" material doesn't look nice in some places -still looking very cheap . Woobly legs when you sit. As a sofabed - when you lie on the mattress you can feel the wood plank just in the middle . Storage very tiny as you can only put there two pillows and small duvet. Not easy to put it back as a sofa as you need to carefully slide the storage underneath (when you have pillows there) .
I will contact Ikea definatelly as I want to return it . It is not worth £1200 !
I'd NOT RECOMMEND - POOR value for money Anonymous reviewer* The main problem is that sofa's back is made of thin plywood without enough bracing to create solid, rigid structure. As a result sofa's back is "bendy", flexing back and forth while sitting on it, making "crackling"sound. It feels very cheap and poor quality.
* Wobbly, rickety legs. Legs are screwed on to small (approximately 10x10cm) square pieces of plywood. These pieces are poorly attached underneath the armrests hence the "wobbling".
* velcro straps meant to hold storage cover in place, are sewn in wrong position unabling to fasten it securely.
* sofa's back on one side flushes evenly with left hand armrest, creating even transition, while on the right hand side it "sticks" out about 1cm above armrest.
* leather around the edges underneath armrests cut off unevenly.
Very disappointed - Regret the purchase Anonymous reviewerVery poor quality, cheap particleboard and plywood used. Sofa came partially assembled. Sections came out of factory/production line uneven, giving it rickety, flimsy and cheap feel. Every time we sit on it, sofa's bends back and forth making "craking" sound. Wobbly legs, as the sockets legs are screwed in, weren't fixed in properly (poor craftsmanship).
Definitely not worth nearly £1100 we paid for it.
I'm very disappointed and upset with the purchase.
Very disappointed - Regret the purchase Anonymous reviewerVery disappointed with this sofa-bed.
Very poor craftsmanship and poor quality built.
- Legs are very wobbly - seems to be a manufacturing fault
- Velcro strips meant to hold back pillows in place, as well storage cover, sewed in wrong position
- Cheap particleboard and plywood used instead of solid wood
- Overall rickety feel
All in all, not what you'd expect from £1200 sofa.
Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Ideally would sent it back for a refund.
