Depends on the lightAnonymous reviewerThis was a challenge to build. Attaching the desk top to the cabinet and drawers was difficult as matching up the holes for the screws was a nightmare. I was also disappointed by the colour match of the drawers to the rest of the desk. The cabinet and desk top looked more white, and the drawers looked more oak-y brown so another set were delivered to me. It looks better than it did, but I'm not convinced that I'd buy this colour scheme again.

Good size, quick to assemble and sturdy - forget the feet on carpet and don't fit the drawers until the top is screwed on.Anonymous reviewerPre-installed drawer runners saved a lot of time. Top surprisingly lightweight but sturdy. Others have commented about how poor the instructions are at making clear which way up the drawer/cupboard units go, but I found it easy enough. Top tip: don't fit the drawers until you have the desktop in place and screwed on (else access for the screwdriver and visibility of the holes becomes tricky). Comes with some adhesive feet - which may work well on a hard/wood floor but I found they got stuck on carpet when trying to put desk in place, so removed them and slid into place comfortably. Just wish they made suitably sized drawer organisers.

Good product, poor instructions Anonymous reviewerVery good once built. But the assembly instructions probably the worst I’ve encountered in many years of building IKEA furniture. I had the version with both cupboards and drawer unit. Three big issues included wrong instructions re attaching the feet, and not highlighting the need to keep the drawer unit with wider gaps between runners at the bottom. But biggest problem was attaching the desk top to the two base units. The method in the instructions makes it nearly impossible to line up the holes and to drive home the screws from below. After internet searching I put the desk top face down on the floor and removed the top panels from the base units. It is then easy to attach these panels to the desk using the holes and screws provided, and then desk top assembly can be lifted back on top of the base units and the fittings retightened. Straightforward once I found this solution after a considerable time struggling. IKEA please amend the assembly instructions.
