Second one now crackedAnonymous reviewerI love the look of these. They look expensive. They’re easy to fit, comfortable and should be sturdy. This is the second one we have had. The first one cracked after three months. I thought it was just a dud so I bought a new one. A year on and it’s cracked as well. Only two of us using it and we have another loo so we don’t even always use it. Very disappointed.
Poor quality chrome fittingsAnonymous reviewerI've bought three of these toilet seats over a period of a few years and in each and every case the chrome fittings deteriorates. The chrome becomes pitted and ugly. They're probably manufactured in China and they are, essentially, rubbish. I'd rather pay more and know that the manufacture is of decent quality.. Avoid

Wood rots away and stinksAnonymous reviewerWe wipe the toilet seats regularly, which is is flaw as the wooden seats rot when contact with excess water. So if you don't like to clean your toilet seats this is for you.
Hinges corrode and come apart from seat Anonymous reviewerI had hoped that this seat would last longer than a year as it looked good for a while and it had a nice soft closure. However the hinges quickly corrode and eventually come apart from the seat. The MDF will rot if left wet and this is how the hinge is attached. I wish I could upload a photo of the rotted seat! I definitely expected this to last longer,
