Good look but difficult fitting Anonymous reviewerThe shade looks nice yet quite hard in setting up. The metal rings click and got loose easily when I tried to push the shade open (what it should look like). Now it’s laying on its top on my dining table with a big round box of chocolate sitting on it, and I’ll keep it that way for at least 24 hours to see how it goes.
The ring is too large for the standard ceiling light head. Hopefully I bought another shade at the same time which awkwardly has an extra fitting ring (with neck) to help.
Nice lamp shadeAnonymous reviewerIt's ok bit fiddly to put together but now it's up it gives our living room so much light
ring too largeAnonymous reviewerThe ring that comes with it is too large for standard ceiling lamps. Not sure if getting a MONTERA would work for it, but it should really come standard as it does with the RINGSTA.
Stylish LightshadeAnonymous reviewerWe bought this to replace a Risbyn white paper shade previously bought from IKEA. We much prefer it as it allows a lot more light into the room. Very cheerful.
That was hard workAnonymous reviewerThis was really hard to assemble for something so simple. The ring was awkward to squeeze into the shade because it kept sliding around, the next two pieces just sit on top of the shade and don't click in, so you're balancing multiple moving things as you try to also screw your light fitting back together.
And I had to buy an adapter for the fitting because the holes in this product are way too big for a standard ceiling light.
Not good - glad it was cheap.Anonymous reviewerThe shade itself is OK. Much more difficult to assemble than the edited video shows, but four hands can do it OK.
The problem is the top ring doesn't attach to the shade, it just flaps about and relies on the lamp holder. The holes are too big for standard UK light fittings, but the recommended adapter also doesn't attach to the lampshade - the shade just rests loosely on the adapter that is firmly attached to the light fitting. This means there is noting holding the shad in place, so it is always lopsided and can move about.
Its a good thing it's cheap enough to just chuck away, as the delivery and return mechanism for a box which is half the size of a shoe box is a shambles.
Beautiful shadeAnonymous reviewerEasy to install and looks gorgeous
Kudd do with anavaAnonymous reviewerIt’s maybe a little fiddly to assemble however this could be a personal thing. I was worried I’d break it so handled it very gingerly, but after installing it I realised it’s very well made and the material is unlikely to warp unless extreme pressure is used! It hangs somewhat unstable on a regular ceiling fitting and I had to use a montera shade ring to keep it up. I think it’s technically meant for the more stylish cord fittings so I am just happy it fits at all! I may buy a couple more as I love the design so much
Love this but not ideal for every lightAnonymous reviewerI fortunately had a spare part to keep this from falling down, as the circle used to mount it is rather larger than our overhead bulb. However, this is fortunate because it looks fantastic and once you work out how to put it together (flip it inside out, insert the ring, then it looks fab) it looks super classy and expensive. We have the matching table lamp which looks great too.

“Pleated lampshades are a big passion of mine and with KUDDLAVA lamps I wanted to transform these classic shades into something new that can suit any home. It was very important to me that the material would create that right warm glow while hiding the entire construction. The fact that 50% of the durable plastic is also recycled is an added bonus."
