Handle came off while carryingAnonymous reviewer I used this carrier to take a celebration cake to a friend. The handle separated from the container whilst I was carrying it. My cake went flying, ending upside down on the ground (luckily still in the container). After spending a lot of time decorating the cake with cream, I was heartbroken that it ended up in a mess.
The handle is NOT able to hold the weight of a normal cake!!!

Love the versatility of it in that one side of the base has holes for cup cakes and the other is flat for a large cake. It might have been better if the cup cake holders were in the other side of the base as they don’t need as much height as a large cake does. But over all it’s great.

Good at first, but weak plastic clips which breakAnonymous reviewerI loved this cake carrier, but after using it occasionally for the last year to store and transport stuff I’ve baked, the plastic snapped on one of the clips. So it doesn’t seal properly anymore and I can’t use it as a carrier with the handle in case more of them break. A shame really, would have expected it to last a lot longer.
