I’ve always found that funnels are narrower than the sieve so had to be careful how I poured so that the liquid went into the funnel & not spill over the counter. Perfect For Kefir & Kombucha Making!Anonymous reviewerLooking for this product in store, I expected a typical sized sieve fitting baking bowls, saucepans etc... but when the staff member handed it to me, its petite size was so instantly enchanting I bought it anyway: and boy am i glad i did!!
The size & design of all 3 parts is just perfect for pouring my homemade kefir into korken jars for storing in the fridge. The sieve fits perfectly over my kefirko glassware... so I can pour straight from my kefirko kefir maker into my kefirko kefir cheese maker. No mess. No fuss. No lost grains.
It also fits perfectly over the 1.7L round 365+ glass
containers I picked up for making kombucha & fermenting veggies in. i'm really looking forward 'hacking' the 14cm bamboo lids to fit fermentation airlocks, knowing that straining/pouring finished kombucha into my cute little 15cl korken bottles with stoppers is super easy.
Pretty sure... with this dinky sieve, I now have the most good looking, stress/mess-free fermentation setup in the world :)))5
