It was simple enough the instructions didn’t really help but we did it!! It is just stunning and fits perfectly in the space where I wanted it. I now want another one for the other side of my bed but I’ll have to put that on hold until after Christmas now.

What’s not to likeAnonymous reviewerGreat chest of drawers, especially for the money when it was on offer. Fairl easy to assemble once you got going and looks really nice in our bedroom. Bigger than I thought it would be. Only downside is that the handles are plastic, but is not a deal breaker and still looks good, plus you could change the handles to metal if you wanted. Really happy :)

Looks great but quality not so goodAnonymous reviewerEasy to put together and look great but really don’t think they will last long. The quality is not what I’m used to from Ikea so I was a bit disappointed. The foil wrap is cheap paper foil which will very easily damage if knocked and as these were for my teenage daughters room I felt the need to purchase glass tops to protect them which cost me almost as much as the drawers. I would have gone for the more expensive Hemnes range which I have in my bedroom which are great but I hate the white stain version they have now which I assume is also to cut costs as they have discontinued the solid white wrapped version. I feel like ikea was always the place I could be confident I would get quality products but unfortunately feel after my last few purchases they are now cutting corners for more profit.

A chore!!Anonymous reviewerI have put together many items from Ikea but this is by far the most patience inducing! I don't know why but it just took ages and I'm not 'thrilled' with the finished item. It's OK but some joints not quite tight enough (even after undoing and re-doing), cheap nasty knobs. Overall disappointed.
Disappointing Anonymous reviewerI bought this in October and having had a Hemnes a few years ago, I was hoping this would be a cheaper alternative. It is not. It was surprisingly difficult to put together, and I have put my fair share of IKEA furniture together over the past ten years or so. It’s sturdy and from a distance it looks alright, but from close-up you can see how cheaply it is made. The main issue, however, is that the drawers regularly fall apart, whereby the holes for the cheap plastic screws in the back of the drawers are just too big and the screws just fall out when you open the drawers. I have now resorted to super-glueing them into the holes but even that doesn’t hold them in place. A huge disappointment after having had this for less than 3 months.

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
