Quality set of drawersAnonymous reviewerI bought the 3 drawer and 2 x bedside tables with 2 drawers. These are very sturdy and robust. We love the internal finish. Very unusual and classy. Lovely quality and I love the soft painted finish which looks perfect in our bedroom. The drawers are very roomy and hold more than you imagine. Easy to put together. I bought the glass top for all 3 which makes them look very expensive and a nice finishing touch. Easy to wipe down and protects the tops from spills and damage. We love them.

Looks great but difficult to assembleAnonymous reviewerBeautiful chest of drawers, sturdy and quite large so holds a lot of clothing. Love the natural wooden top and drawer pulls. I’ve had hemnes before but I’m impressed the drawers have been improved and have metal under drawer supports to prevent the drawers bases from sinking. However, this is very difficult to assemble, the pre drilled holes are far too small making it exceptionally difficult to screw together. I made a mistake when building but found it impossible to disassemble fortunately my error has seemingly not affected the look or function of the unit. Also some of the holes in the drawer pulls are not drilled deep enough so the screws do not go in far enough leaving the drawer pulls a little loose.

It finishes off the clean fresh look I wanted to achieve. The drawers are deep enough to store my winter jumpers, my gym clothes, and nightwear. So extra storage for me and a smart guest bedroom. I’m really pleased with the drawers and the whole range.
A beautiful series loosing qualityAnonymous reviewerJust purchased the Hemnes chest of drawers from the store as we are very happy with other Hemnes items brought in years past, but this chest of drawers was disappointing:
1) The "staining" which we discovered too late: why not paint the furniture to the same standard, consistent to other Hemnes items? Looks like it's missing a few layers of paint.
2) Inside of the drawers, and the panelling is so cheap feeling, and looking. Not at all the quality I got on other Ikea items.
Disappointed to see another trustworthy brand starting to cut corners, guess the shareholders need their value...and customers end up buying expensive cardboard.
