Very nice looking outside storage, one issueAnonymous reviewerThis is a really nicely designed piece for storage outside, instead of just a big box locker. Very well made, pretty simple to put together. I do wish there were just a few centimetres more in depth... ikea's own most popular boxes don't fit inside with the short side facing (which would enable maximum use of the space). I tried my 35cm long Kuggis and 34cm long Uppdatera boxes and they are literally only 1-2cm too deep for this unit to close on, so they had to go in lengthways. Very surprising, I thought Ikea would have considered something like this.4

Also, the cats love napping under them 😁 Assembly was a bit puzzling at first so I think even a sticker on the parts to say which way up or which pages they correspond to would have been helpful as it’s hard to figure out as there are similar parts. Got there in the end though.5
Great storage but not not for outsideAnonymous reviewerWe purchased this to use on our patio, to keep bits and pieces we use regularly and don't want to have to go into the shed for. It was probably an oversight on our part but we've had a lot of rain recently and everything inside is now sitting in puddles and anything that was in a box, is now surrounded by cardboard mush. I would say it's perfect for the shed or garage etc... but as for outside.... Only if you live somewhere that it doesn't rain! It's ashame as it looks really nice.3
