Initially, saw one for sale in a local antiques shop for £65, and decided to hunt around & see if I could get it cheaper. And then, watching a YouTube video of someone giving us all a tour if her Paris apartment, I noticed all her stuff was from IKEA, and there in the corner was the mirror! I immediately checked out the IKEA website & found it! For £45! So, a very happy bunny indeed! Was easy to assemble if you're used to putting together IKEA stuff. Took about 15 mins. Looks great & matches the room colour scheme. Very pleased with my purchase!5

What is mirror glass?

Mirror glass comprises mostly of ordinary glass with a reflective coating in some kind of metal. In the past it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury – but over time, both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. That’s why, as of several years ago, IKEA has a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors and instead it is non-toxic silver or aluminium that reflects your mirror image.
