Went to B n Q and purchased metal piping , plumbing ends and electrical tape to extend the headboard . Love the bed and colour . Really easy to assemble , done in 30 minutes and looks great
Squeakiest bed I’ve ever hadAnonymous reviewerDon’t buy this if you’re a light sleeper. Even within a day, the bed squeaked like it’s from the 18th century. If your partner wakes up and grabs their phone, be prepared to wake up. There is not really a fix to it, and I have never heard a bed say so many sounds at once. Also, if you’re the type of person to grab your laptop and sit in bed with it, don’t bother with this model if it’s going to have a gab between the wall (like against a radiator) - the headboard is just a loose piece of fabric you slide over the top at the end. Really poor build quality from Ikea this time. If you need a budget friendly bed, then the Slattum is much better value for money. That is what we wanted to buy as we’ve had that in the past, but it wasn’t available when we needed it.

ImpressedAnonymous reviewerI just put this bed frame together yesterday and by myself. It was surprisingly easy and has to be the least stressful Ikea furniture pack I have ever assembled (hence I felt it deserved a review).
I had read the negative reviews prior to purchasing and although concerning, after speaking with Customer Service they confirmed that if it should become unstable or creak you can return it.
I made every effort in the assembly to make the screws really tight - I didn't need any additional tools for this. The bed felt really stable (super king), no noise or rocking on my hardwood floors.
I will update my review if anything changes...however right now I highly recommend this bed frame for the price point and convenience.
Classic Ikea NightmareAnonymous reviewerI ordered this bed and was really excited to put it together. I put the whole bed together and then at the last step - attaching the headboard to the bed frame - I realized the holes had been drilled the wrong way around and I couldn't put this bed together. I called customer service and they were incredibly unhelpful. This was a classic IKEA nightmare!

Budget friendly for a couple who just recently moved in together!Anonymous reviewerDont let the price deter you from the quality. It was really quick to put together and my boyfriend managed to do it by himself although its a two person job. We've had the bed for three weeks and no issues with it. It allows us to have storage underneath and the colour is beige like is really nice. The frame is very sturdy for the price. The only feedback I have is that I wish the textile headboard on the bed came in different colours that I could swap when I wanted to. But price wise its very budget friendly for a couple who just recently moved in together!
