Reviews
we love our kivik Anonymous reviewerwe have a few kivik sofas, all different ages, we've kept buying them to replace our other sofas as we are so happy with them, we have 2 corner sofas which we have made into a 9 seat U sofa, everyone that sits on it loves it, it’s extremely comfy and has nice deep seats, which is one of the reasons we decided to buy the kivik and also the wide armrests which are great for remotes etc. we have a few different covers which are all lovely and soft too. we have found that the more expensive covers are softer than the cheaper ones. our covers have washed well so far. we have 2 of the old style chairs a 2 seater sofa and a 3 seater sofa and 2 footstools. if i had to say anything negative then it would be that the back cushions need longer zips as they are a bit tight to get on but it seems easier after doing it a few times. the covers look nice and neat on, no saggy parts, easy to vac under cushions as and when needed. they are super easy to build, i did them myself without any help.5
Lovely Sofa, Unbelievable Value For Money!Anonymous reviewerIt’s a beautiful corner sofa in the dark green we got. We’ve had so many compliments on it from friends and family and all have commented on how cheap it is in comparison to what they’ve been looking for. Would mention though it does sag a little in the corner which is more of an annoyance than anything wrong with it. 4
Beautiful sofa! Anonymous reviewerIt’s a beautiful, comfortable and very large corner sofa - we are very happy with it! It looks and feels like an expensive/luxury couch but without the price tag. The seat cushions are firmer than the Vimle range (which we have in the other lounge) but I’m sure with time they’ll “break in” a bit. The tibbeley grey beige covers are very nice but be aware that the back cushion covers are extremely difficult to get on, especially the two corner cushions, hence the 4 stars instead of 5 stars. It took my husband and I about 20 minutes to put each one on and had very red sore hands and fingers afterwards. I think IKEA need to look into making the zip length of the two corner back covers longer, with it possibly even going up one side to make it a lot easier to put the insert cushions inside. It seems from other reviews this is a common problem. But the couch is totally worth buying and we are so glad we did! 4
Front support collapsed within less than a year.Anonymous reviewerNeeds to be strengthened in the front corners of the base.1
