Best Ketchup ever.Anonymous reviewerI have been buying Ikea ketchup for years. I first tasted it when the Glasgow store opened and I had my very first hot dog at the cafe. The ketchup was noticeably better than any I had tasted before. Not overly sweet, like some, nor too salty or too "vinegary". Just perfect. I was delighted to discover that it was for sale in the food shop and have been buying it ever since (along with the mustard which is superb too). I always have a spare in the cupboard. I've found it to be incredibly versatile as an ingredient when making other sauces (e g. for pakora and prawn cocktail) and dips. My family love it and refuse to use any other brand. They are a hard lot to please so well done Ikea!

Tastes good! Anonymous reviewerThis ketchup has a good texture, smooth and the right thickness. Very comparable to other well known brands and real value for money. Picked up 2 bottles this time. Will buy again. The only problem I had is finding somewhere to pay for it afterwards. The pay desk was unattended and when I asked was directed to a self service pay station which was tucked away behind some stacked goods. I'll know for next time though.

In Sweden, perhaps the most classic way to use it is as a hot dog topping together with mustard. Actually, Swedes are said to be the world's heaviest users of ketchup so no wonder you find KETCHUP (tomato ketchup) here in the IKEA store!
