It looks very smart, goes with the rest of our units and can hold so much stuff. The stand is metal which gives the unit strength and durability. I would recommend the stand for this reason. The tv unit will take a 65’ TV with room to spare. We put hardboard behind the open areas so that cables are hidden completely.5
