Love myself a KallaxAnonymous reviewerOne of the best products IKEA has ever come up with. Very versatile, good looking, modular, strong, easy to assemble and clean. I currently have 5 units , used in the living room/kitchen and once I move, I'll buy more units to use as space divider in the living room as well. It's good that the back edges are also finished, thus it can be placed in any space. I like the inserts, too. One suggestion, you could make small ball rollers one could fix to the bottom of the smaller units (1x1, 2x1 etc). I bought the 1x1 one, got the rollers from B&Q, fixed them under and now I have a nice little coffee table that rolls anywhere around the sofa. Perfect with a pretty basket inserted.5

Wrong dowels caused damage to end piecesAnonymous reviewerI love kallax units but Ikea still haven’t sorted the issue whereby they give them same size dowels for all needs, but yet the end holes aren’t deep enough for that size dowel, which then has meant once got the sides flush there was damage to the outside. So disappointing when all ikea need to do is provide two difference size dowels. 2

Not impressed by this one, Anonymous reviewerPlease read and take notice of the negative ones, it’s very nice, however fixing it together a night made, not only was are chipped before starting to put together how ever, putting it together oh my, the a holes ain’t deep enough to fix the wood fittings in, so when you put the shelf’s together some close some don’t, we are hoping to buy another one and hoping the next one will be better other wise I wouldn’t recommend, customer service was nice and helpful 1

Completely different colour than on websiteAnonymous reviewerI ordered two Kallax cabinets in white stained oak shade, that on the website looks quite a bright, pale shade. In reality it's more of a dull, light grey colour. Website photos are extremely inaccurate and I'm going to have to cover the cabinets with sticky back vinyl, which if I'd known I'd have to do I would've just ordered them in white as they're cheaper1
