You can mount the shelving unit on the right or left side.
Simple to assemble and ready to use in a flash.
It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.
Hide or display your things by combining open and closed storage.
If you want to divide and adapt the shelving unit to your storage needs, you can complete with KALLAX inserts which are sold separately.

Partly disappointed Anonymous reviewerI think it's great it fits in with the kallax units, but the finish on the bottom of final end panel ,which is raw and sits on the floor.I would of thought ikea would of provided a piece of felt or trim to protect your flooring and the desk.Also caps to cover the holes that you can see at the front where you sit. For people on the minimum wage it's 4hours wages.

Kallax deskAnonymous reviewerBought to use as a dressing table. Very easy to put together and sturdy once assembled. Also bought the drawer inserts, which make it super useful for storing everything away. Only disappointing part is that IKEA have changed the oak colourand so this is a lot lighter than the drawers I already have in the bedroom. Just be aware if adding to a room with furniture in the oak colour used previously. Other than that, very happy with the product.

It’s nice study table we made it to dressing table 😜 with white square mirror from Ikea which is absolutely gorgeous with bulbs on the side looks amazing everyone loved it. Sad part desk was damaged other than beautiful for the price I paid. I would definitely recommend 🥰

Finally an ikea designer must have heard me because this is the desk I've been waiting for!
I love how the storage side can be done left or right, and the cable management at the back is ideal.
Not the biggest desk but it fully compliments the rest of the range and is ideal for me WFH a few days a week.
Only gripe is the visible fixings. My other kallax black brown uses blackened versions so blend in better than these chrome looking ones.
