Reviews
Good desk but has defectsAnonymous reviewerIt’s a good desk, sturdy and easy enough to put together. My only note would be that the packaging could be better. My desk arrived with some bashed areas on the top from transit (the packaging had the same marks). Customer service were very helpful and sent me out a new one with no trouble, except that the replacement also has some defects/bashes on it in different places. It’s a shame because it’s perfect otherwise! I will put up with the marks because it’s a good price, but it could be packaged with more protection to save these issues.
Arrived dentedAnonymous reviewerIt arrived with a huge great dent in the corner of the desk top
DeskAnonymous reviewerGood value and easy to assemble
Perfect for usAnonymous reviewerReally good. Started as a computer desk, but became a dressing table instead. Probably not really designed for that, but it works well, especially if you put some boxes in it.
Damaged cornerAnonymous reviewerProduct arrived well packed but on assembly and putting top on noticed damage to a corner. It’s a pre damaged area as the corner has been touched up. Still need desk so reluctant to return.
Lovely itemAnonymous reviewerAs this can be made with left or right shelving, the instructions for assembly are a little confusing. I’ve recently built a full wardrobe run from Ikea and this was harder to fathom than that . Having said that the item once built is ideal for the use I have for it as a dressing table. Just wish it came with hole filler caps as the holes not used are on view.
Love it!Anonymous reviewerReally sturdy desk with plenty of space. Originally bought one for my son and then had to get myself one too!
ExcellentAnonymous reviewerI love everything kallax and this desk is a great addition. Easy to put together and sturdy when done
Cheap poor designAnonymous reviewerDamaged stained looked like a display one. Too thin as we but that is down to me fir not measuring properly. Worst thing ever purchased from Ikea
Very easy to build and looks smartAnonymous reviewerGreat product - perfect for a home office
FeedbackAnonymous reviewerQuality was good, but the packing of the item was good, but the product was damaged on three occasions and last time I did not exchange it because it was already a letdown as it was birthday presents for the grandkids
The Kallax desk looks great with the Kallax unitAnonymous reviewerThe delivery came to other house and I had to get it from there caring to my third floor by the stairs. Assembling it by myself I found out that the very last piece of the top of the desk was cracked on both sides. I contacted The customer service team and they delivered a new one within a week.
I am very happy with this purchase that goes along with the Kallax unit by its side.
Nice furniture but came damagedAnonymous reviewerThe furniture that arrived was of good quality it was a shame that the desk top came damaged
Daughter likes it.Anonymous reviewerVery sturdy
Small kallax desk sturdy and flexible optionsAnonymous reviewerSlim desk, matches my other kallax, very sturdy and useful. Unfortunately, this was delivered as a replacement for first Oder that arrived badly damaged. When I opened this one, it too was damaged on the same side but not as badly so decided keep as needed desk urgently. I would recommend collecting this from store so can check box beforehand and not risk a courier delivery. IKEA needs to add extra packaging to protect this when being delivered as obviously a problem.
GreatAnonymous reviewerEasy to build and sturdy even on carpet
PerfectAnonymous reviewerNice size, doesn’t take over the room. Perfect for my son to play Lego on, colour, draw and do his homework on
Kallax DeskAnonymous reviewerEasy to assemble but 1 item damaged.
Couldn’t fault Ikea’s return policy and customer service and got replacement item delivered within 2 days
Hot Dogs are nice too and I liked the restaurant
Will be returning some time soon for more flat packs and hot dogs 🌭
Kallax DeskAnonymous reviewerThis was delivered very quickly and was easy to put together. It's an ideal desk with plenty of storage.
