Very PoorAnonymous reviewerI’ve wanted more TRADFRI E27s but they’re discontinued so tried this one despite having greater number of lumens. There’s little difference in output & they’re not much brighter than a standard 470 lumen bulb either. I directly pair devices without a hub & what’s annoying is that it’s near impossible to pair these bulbs with 3 generations of IKEA remote control (RC) despite being backward compatible; even if successful one of the bulbs frequently failed to respond. The minimal extra brightness may not be noticed amongst several of the older types but problems can arise around the shades of white & dimming if they share the same RC. The TRADFRI only has 3 shades of white & by the time you’ve gone through this bulb’s range of shades, the TRADFRI’s will have gone round more than twice & the bulbs will be out of sync. Due to the greater number of lumens, dimming will be slower & be out of sync too. Is IKEA expecting customers to replace all their bulbs with this one for consistency?

Great bulb at a great priceAnonymous reviewerForget Hue, these are quality bulbs with a good light at a cheap price. They’re Matter which means you don’t need outdated Zigbee bridges. Response to change from an app or button is excellent. I’m very impressed.
My only wishes are for a bayonet fitting and another bulb in the series which is a little brighter - 1300 lumen or so would be ideal.

Also grateful that it's possible get these working in zigbee mode by cycling the power (google for more info). Please do keep zigbee as an option available in the firmware, IKEA! They integrate really well into my home assistant smart home.
