Swedish cream cakesAnonymous reviewerThese are individual luxurious Swedish cakes. The traditional large cakes are called Prinsesstårta and these are every bit as delicious as the celebratory cakes you find in Sweden.5
Thank you for bringing back Princess Torte!!Anonymous reviewerI'm so pleased that these are back at IKEA. I have missed them. They are traditional Swedish "Princess torte" so should always be at IKEA.5
Marzipan covered cream cakesAnonymous reviewerI was a bit disappointed with these, being frozen, once defrosted, the cream becomes mooshy.2
Special treatAnonymous reviewerReally tasty as a special treat. 5
Best cakes everAnonymous reviewerThese cakes/ puddings are like a donut with creame filling but lighter.
One is satisfying enough to not over indulge.
Only down side is once bought they start to defrost and if you travel any distance/ time laps before putting back In the freezer it can ruin them. 5
YummyAnonymous reviewerAlways looking for something a bit different and this is it 5
Life changingAnonymous reviewerI don’t even know where to start because this cake has altered my existence. The moment I took my first bite, time slowed, the room blurred, and suddenly I was no longer in the Ikea dining area. I was floating in pure bliss. Was I in Sweden? Was I in heaven? I couldn’t tell.
The sponge is so light and airy it’s like biting into a cloud. The raspberry layer is the perfect balance of tart and sweet, cutting through the richness. And the vanilla custard? So smooth, so creamy, so indulgent.
But the true star is the marzipan. That soft, delicate, sweet almond layer doesn’t just coat the cake. It embraces it like a warm, sugary hug.
I ate one… got up to get 2 more, I have no regrets.
If you haven’t tried these, get to IKEA and stock up. Your taste buds deserve this absolute blessed journey!!
IKEA you are the MVP for this babes honestly. Never get rid of them or I’m gonna cry for the rest of my life 5
Love ‘emAnonymous reviewerSo happy they are back in the Scandi shop. Can be eaten soon after defrosting. Totally yummy. 5
Amazing cakeAnonymous reviewerThis cake is trully a treat to the senses, I've tried it semi frozen, and it tasted like a rich ice-cream cake, as well as fully defrosted and it was very lovely indeed, the marzipan layer was my favorite.5
BeautifulAnonymous reviewerLove these. I even enjoy them frozen 5
Delicious Anonymous reviewer4 delicious frozen almondy cake/deserts. What's really good is that inside the box the cakes are individually wrapped so you can get just one out of the freezer for a treat!5
Excellent cream cakes almond flavoured Anonymous reviewerBest put on plate before defrosting 5
LoveAnonymous reviewerI loved the princess torte cake ikea used to make and wish they still made them. These little ones are delish but not great for a birthday as they so small. Very tasty though. 5
KafferepAnonymous reviewerI know these as Princess cakes but they have alwys been bright green or white for Swedish Royal events. The marzipan on these is a bit thin & sticks to the packaging when defrosting. I still love them though!4
Amazingly light and tasty Anonymous reviewerLove this dessert. Very good value and quality extremely consistent. 5
PrinsesstårtaAnonymous reviewerThese mini Prinsesstårtor are a perfect small version of a Prinsesstårta. With sponge cake, whipped cream and almond paste, covered in marzipan, they are a great light desert or fika accompaniment. 5
Light and tastyAnonymous reviewerCovered with pink icing. A fairly thin layer of sponge at the bottom covered with Jam then cream. I like then semi-frozen. They are very soft when fully thawed.5
AmazingAnonymous reviewerMy husbands favourite (and mine) never leave IKEA without a few boxes…. Very light, with the thin layer of almond paste… delicious 5
