Extra fittings neededAnonymous reviewerIf you are from the UK, the shade fitting is too big to fit a standard B22 light fitting. Purchase (from IKEA) the Montera shade ring x2 for a sturdier fit. E27 bulb looks more stylish, so I recommend the Koppla B22 to E27 bulb converter. Both things are no more than £4. Definitely worth it for a stylish, sturdy finish.

Only problem is the hole to put the pendant through is smaller than most fittings. I had ordered some lovely ones online but had to return as too big. I tried B&Q but same problem and Ikea only had plastic ones in stock. Luckily found some in Dunelm so look great

Looks good, but hole too smallAnonymous reviewerI bought this to hang on a low pendant over my kitchen table. IKEA don't seem to sell that sort of pendant, so I had to find one elsewhere. I tried Wilko's, Screwfix and Dunhelm and none of the fittings would fit as the hole is too small. I eventually managed to find the right sort of fitting from Habitat. I think it needs a decorative E27 bulb, which causes the problems with the fittings.

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
