Sturdy open shelvingAnonymous reviewerWe wanted some extra storage in our office. These are more expensive than typical metal open shelf units. However, they are worth the cost. Very sturdy when put together, even when free standing. The white with natural bamboo is very aesthetic. The only issue is that there is no adjustability for the shelves. You could remove a shelf in theory if you need more height, although this would hamper the aesthetic.
This is a worthwhile trade off for the added stability. The metal sides are each one piece, not slotted together. The shelves are all screwed in, not fixed into notches.
