Far better than expected considering the reviewsAnonymous reviewerI've only just bought the chair but I've spent a whole day sitting on it and am very happy. Some noted that the cushion loses it's spring so I can't comment on that yet. However everything else is great. Loving the lower back support, it's adjustable as well which I wasn't expecting.
My only minor complaint which I've seen mentioned is that the arm rests really need to lock in place as otherwise they can move forward and back if you lean on them at certain angles.
A few mentioned the seat cushion not being large enough. I've found that if you adjust it so that it's as far forward as it can go then it's got plenty of space5
Back pain and annoying feetAnonymous reviewerThe chair seemed comfortable while sitting on it at the store but when I use it for more than 15mins I get back pain, probably due to how small the base is so you constantly feel like you need to support yourself.
And the feet don’t roll well even on hard floor, or with a chair mat, it’s easier to just pick the chair up and move it instead of moving on it while seated.2
Disappointingly uncomfortable Anonymous reviewerI bought this 2 and a half years ago and it’s got to the point where the seat provides zero cushioning whatsoever. It’s all sealed so reupholstery is not possible either. I use it daily and it’s worth spending a bit more for regular home use. 3
A great home office chairAnonymous reviewerOverall i am happy with this chair. It is well made, looks cool, is comfortable and my lower back feels well supported. I tried it in a store so was happy that it was suited to my body.
The recline mechanism works well given it is a chair and not a sun-lounger.
I'd prefer the sliding arm rests to have a locking mechanism as they will slide during normal use.
I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 due to the ridiculous castors. They feel just like a chair with a broken castor. Moving the chair, even when you are sat in it, is awkward. This seems to be a deliberate "design feature" but I can't imagine anyone will find this anything but highly irritating. Want to push yourself away from your desk. Forget about that! At some point I might try and replace them with proper wheels that turn freely.4
Excellent chairAnonymous reviewerThis is as good as other reviews suggest: it provides good support, can be adjusted in all dimensions. It's both practical and comfortable. It also looks good (in black)5
Noisy chair is this to be expected?Anonymous reviewerSo it looks good, it is comfortable but the level of creaking is seriously irritating and impacts on ability to concentrate.1
A decent replacement for a 5yr old Markus leatherAnonymous reviewerA sturdy chair, with some versatile options. Comfortable enough for my all day work from home days. 4
Very disappointed Anonymous reviewerI bought this on the strength the of the Which review. The seat pad is too thin and back does not recline enough to be comfortable for me. 1
High back office chairAnonymous reviewerHappy overall with purchase, like that I can position seat, back, hight and head rest to suit me. Seat could do with being a little more padded but I guess this may soften with use.4
Almost perfect...Anonymous reviewerVery easy to unpack and assemble. I like the adjustability of the chair, I spend at least 8 hours a day in it Mon- Fri and it's easy to make it comfortable. The only negative is the adjustable arm rests, height is fine but I found the horizontal ( front to back) adjustment annoying as they wouldn't stay where I wanted until I wedged a piece of card in them. Overall I'm very happy.4
Looks smart, but not very comfortable.Anonymous reviewerLooks good and would be fine if you only sat down occasionally. Seat is not deep enough or padded enough3
Lower back comfortAnonymous reviewerA great chair because of how you can custom fit it. Lower back feels supported and fits taller person easily. It doesn't look comfy, but it is.5
Short seatAnonymous reviewerThe seat part is short, with the back part pushed to the maximum, leaving my knee unsupported and uncomfortable 2
Great chair, easy to assemble, comfortable and good quality.Anonymous reviewerGreat chair, easy to assemble, comfortable and good quality. Very pleased.5
Great desk chair 10/10Anonymous reviewerGreat office chair, very sturdy and comfortable 5
New chairAnonymous reviewerVery good chair but maybe not quite as comfortable as Which Magazine article said but still a good buy.5
Very good chair, a couple of issuesAnonymous reviewerI've had this for about a year now and it's been miles better than the cheaper chairs available, so the extra spent was worth it over these. The chair adjustments are very good and were easy to set. I'm supported perfectly across the body, my issue is with the arm rests being too low. Even on the highest position, my arms do not reach them unless I slouch (a lot). They need another 5-10CM adjustment in hight. My arms are about 1-2 CM off so to support well I need about 3-4 CM higher.
Unlike my old chair/s, the seat pad has held up perfectly, no bottom imprints / loss of padding.
My other issue with the chair is with where the chair meets the upright gas lift, this has become loose causing a noticeable wobble.5
Home Office Chair Anonymous reviewerEasy to follow instructions for assembly. Smart looking, Comfortable chair. Pleased with purchase.5
Excellent value for money.Anonymous reviewerReally comfortable chair at an affordable price. My wife was amazed that I was able to assemble it myself! Looks really good in my study.5
Great chair, missing a couple thingsAnonymous reviewerI’ve used this chair now for around 3-4 months so may as well leave a review to help others looking at the same one. I previously used a gaming chair, which I know are not as good for comfortability and posture etc, so decided to get an office style instead. The chair has great features like height adjustment, lumbar support, head support, raising and lowering arm rests, however the only thing I dislike, which is mostly due to having a gaming chair previously, is that the arm rests cannot tilt left or right and cannot move forwards or backwards themselves, only up and down. Other than that my experience with the chair has been very good, the only other thing I could mention is that the lumbar support does take some time to get used to and if it’s positioned incorrectly it’ll end up digging into your back.4
