Horrible to put togetherAnonymous reviewerThis shelf is a good size, and made of nice solid wood & metal shelves. However, this is the worst ikea product I have ever put together.
The vertical wooden pieces have holes bored into them for the supporting cross pieces of wood to slip into. However, they have been made with far too small of a tolerance and it's an absolute fight to get the supports into place on both sides. It is then another fight to hammer home the dowels which secure the pieces in place.
It took me several attempts due to running out of stamina with all the heavy duty hammering. And I gave up on some and had to cut the dowel rods ends that were protruding. About 2 of them went in easily as they should due to well aligned holes.
I wouldn't recommend buying this given the level of effort to build for the price of the product
