Disastrous lampAnonymous reviewerI bought this from the Edinburgh ikea this afternoon. In all I spent £250 in Ikea including on this lamp. On plugging it in to the sockets in my son’s first year univeristy room the lamp went on for 2 seconds then went off. Then it didn’t work in any of the other plug sockets I tried. The plug sockets themselves are not faulty as they still charge my son’s phone. I can only assume that something in the lamp has blown or broken straight away. But I can not change the bulb as I would normally to check if it has blown. I am leaving Edinburgh first thing tomorrow I do not have a car and do not have time to take it back to IKEA. So I can only assume that this lamp will end up in landfill. What a waste of money.
Cable brokeAnonymous reviewerA very nice looking lamp, but the plug on the cable broke and you can't get a replacement - it is unique to Ikea and they don't sell them. So it looks like I have to throw the whole thing away when it is less than a year old. Poor value for money and rubbish Green credentials for IKEA

Cute but terrible forethoughtAnonymous reviewerWe love the look of this lamp but it's very dim, 21 watt equivalent is not bright enough to work or read by. Moreover you cannot get a bulb anywhere except as a spare part from IKEA for when this one goes... How is this sustainable? We'll be returning it. Sad as it's so cute.
