Great use for SEN kids!Anonymous reviewerThe chair is truly great. It can spin, hide a kid once the hood is down. It has endless potential for customisation, depending upon a child’s need. Quite spacious! I need to mention, don’t get discouraged if you happen to get a faulty one at first, once you’ve got the right one and everything clicks steadily together, I assure you will be very satisfied!
Highly recommend, especially for special needs children.

Bit disappointed that the hood has a gap and does not fit snuggly to chair.
Definitely orange , not red and could do with a comfy cushion.
Would be amazing if there was an alternative hood that was blackout fabric and with lights to make a sensory hideaway ...over to you IKEA geniuses....

The base won’t connect to seat - unsafe. Not able to use Anonymous reviewerThe part that connects the base to seat will not click into place properly therefore as soon as there is any weight in the chair or spins it comes off therefore it’s not usable at all. This part seems to be unavailable to order as a spare as well. Really really disappointed

Won’t click into place so very dangerous Anonymous reviewerI bought this today for my son with ASD. Pretty simple to put together however part 10096522 (step 3) will not click into place correctly no matter how many times I’ve tried. This leaves the chair completely unusable.
