Just what I needed.Anonymous reviewerMy old ladle had melted on the cooker … whoops5
GreatAnonymous reviewerQuality and sturdy and I will be buying more from this range.5
Broke after 2 months Anonymous reviewerThe handle is detached after two months of use. I’m a big fan of IKEA and have been using a lot of their products. I was attracted by this ladle because it has a silicone handle with a little stopper that kinda helping it holding onto the rim of a stockpot. But it actually started to get flimsy and loose after using for a few times. And the handle is completely detached after 2 months of purchase. I was hoping it could at least last for a year.2
Great for priceAnonymous reviewerIt's a good product. Good for what it costs. Shame there's no other colours, black is a bit boring.5

Material

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.

Quality

All our utensils can take the heat

Most of our plastic spatulas, whisks and ladles can take temperatures up to at least 220°C (428°F), which is higher than most normal cooking temperatures. So you can leave your plastic utensils in the frying pan for a while without worrying. If you have pans with a non-stick finish, we recommend you use plastic or wooden utensils. They're softer than metal and gentler on the inside of the pan.
