Reviews

Great for non stick pansAnonymous reviewerBought it for multi-cooker (metal ones don't work good because of scratches). As well as good5
Could be improved Anonymous reviewerIf only IKEA produced a pair of tongs with soft ends, about half the length of these, but with a strong joining/flexing area... These current tongs have a strong joint, but have hard ends, and are simply too long for kitchen use 🙄3
Sturdy - yet very flexible. Lovely design and quality. Anonymous reviewerSturdy - yet very flexible. Lovely design and quality. 5

Great value & qualityAnonymous reviewerReally durable, reasonably priced & easy to use.5
It holdsAnonymous reviewerIt is very good for steaks. It has excellent hold. Good value for money but it is not for very wide volume because the opening angle is not wide enough. I would love another version of this one for bigger items3
Perfect for air fryerAnonymous reviewerPerfect for using in the air fryer5
Amazing really great to useAnonymous reviewerAmazing really great to use comfortable in my hand5
Kitchen basic must haveAnonymous reviewerVery useful to turn sausages, meats and sliced veg on a pan. It's covered in soft silicone not to scratch. Perfect.5
👍Anonymous reviewer👍5
Good for use with non-stick pansAnonymous reviewerI had expected these tongs to open on an adjustable spring at the top, my fault, they are great for bacon and thin things but the gap is probably about 2.5cm so if you are wanting to turn thick steak etc. you may want to go for a different style.5
Lovely tongsAnonymous reviewerPractical, elegant and easy to use.5
Small tongsAnonymous reviewerNeeded smaller tongs and these are perfect5
Long handled light weight tongsAnonymous reviewerLove these tongs. No more scratches on my good non-stick frying pan...provided I can train my son to look for them rather than just grabbing the first tool available!! Long handles means less splashes when turning those juicy steak!5
Great tongsAnonymous reviewerGreat for using on bacon and meat5
Anonymous reviewerI haven’t used it much but it does what it says.4
Good productAnonymous reviewerNeeded tongs to use with non stick griddle pan - also brought from IKEA! Easy to use not too hard to squeeze together5
ExcellentAnonymous reviewerI bought one of these last year and find it so useful that I decided to get another one.5
Value for moneyAnonymous reviewerDoes the job and a fair price.5

Material

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.

Quality

All our utensils can take the heat

Most of our plastic spatulas, whisks and ladles can take temperatures up to at least 220°C (428°F), which is higher than most normal cooking temperatures. So you can leave your plastic utensils in the frying pan for a while without worrying. If you have pans with a non-stick finish, we recommend you use plastic or wooden utensils. They're softer than metal and gentler on the inside of the pan.
