I still keep some plants and seedlings indoors at night (11C - 13C), so this assembly I hoped to help with that, and with protecting from heavy rain the sensitive plants.
Being made of metal, during spring and summer days, if the structure catches the direct sunlight, even the 8am sun, it will heat. A lot. So best to have that in mind when you plan. However, this might actually help in November and during the winter months. Would I buy again? I'll give it a winter also before deciding.4
Not sureAnonymous reviewerI choose this as thought it would last longer than the aluminium pole type version of a small greenhouse. I’m not sure if it is better so far, it’s smaller and would be harder to take down. The cover seems less sturdy. It is a bit annoying to put up and to start with the holes don’t line up, but as other reviews have said you just have to keep going and it all comes together in the end. 3

Great mini greenhouseAnonymous reviewerOne of Ikeas great products. With cover it is a solid well thought out design for the price. Easy to build - even if only a small part of screw hole shows in some joints just point screw into it and it will gently pull the joint together and straighten automatically. Wonderful small efficient vented greenhouse in spring with option of open shelving in summer. Galvanised so slug are not so keen on climbing over it. Really pleased with the space saving solution this provides for seedlings and salad vegetables all summer long.5

For Starter Seedlings Anonymous reviewerI purchased this to hold my starter seedlings before transferring to my greenhouse. The cover will be beneficial when heating is off overnight. My son put it together for me, took him 20 minutes. Perfect for what I need and quite sturdy.4
Excellent shelving.Anonymous reviewerI purchased another one for my summerhouse. I already have 7 of these metal units. 4 in my shed, one in my conservatory with plants on. If you turn the trays upside down n seal the corners they make excellent drip trays for plants n seedlings, and two outside holding old plant pots and bulbs etc. I cover with plastic during winter to store plants too. All still in good condition 18 years on. New one came in a cardboard box with simple instructions for construction. One screwdriver later and about half hour I have my shelves in place holding all the outdoor toys. Box rolled up and in the bin.
